Meet Philippa – our beautiful bride getting married at the Nutfield Priory, a luxury hotel and spa in Redhill, Surrey. She came to James Blaquiere for help with her wedding hair, hoping to achieve a soft romantic look for her big day.

Wedding Hair Consultation

Having found James through his website, Philippa booked a consultation and hair trail to find the perfect look for her wedding hair. She would be wearing a shoulder-length veil on the day as part of her look, so it was important this was incorporated into the ideas. James was also asked to style her sister’s hair who would be acting as Maid of Honour.

At the wedding hair consultation, James spoke to Philippa and her sister at length, making sure he thoroughly understood both of their needs. As part of the consultation, he also styled their hair so that they could see how it would look on the day. They were both overjoyed with the finished look.

The Beautiful Results

On your wedding day, it’s important that everything remains on schedule before you walk down the aisle, giving you enough time to feel pampered and take a few deep breaths! James helped everything run smoothly by liaising with Philippa’s make-up artist, planning a mini hairstyling schedule in advance. This allowed the bridal party to have a pleasurable morning, ensuring all make-up and wedding hair was applied in good time.

As you can see from the images, Philippa and her sister look stunning. Philippa’s hair has been styled to suit her dress perfectly, with tumbling waves and curls to go with her bandeau strapless style dress. The Maid of Honour wore a hair up style which complements Philippa’s look perfectly.

The bridal party were delighted with the results, and since then, James has styled the Maid of Honour’s hair for a red carpet event she attended – the ultimate compliment!
